Family Night at Dance 2 & Halloween Costumes

Caitlyn's dance class got to wear their Halloween costumes to dance class last night. This was also another night where parents & others could come in & watch. Caitlyn does really well as far as going into class evey week & she says she likes dance & her teacher, Mrs. Kim, but she hates family night. She is beyond shy around anyone other than close family. The whole point of family night is to get the kids used to being watched in preparation for recitals, but it doesn't help my child. I can just see her sailing off the stage at recital to sit with me in the audience. I can't really blame her b/c she's gets a good dose from both sides of the family. Robert is rather quiet (until you get to know him) & not one to draw attention to himself and I am shy in public situations like public speaking or meeting new people. She is so solemn faced even though I was behind the camera grinning from ear to ear trying to evoke a smile. Her brother even got in on the action when he saw his sissy. There were some really cute costumes; Minnie Mouse, 2 Tinkerbells, Snow White, a gypsy, & others.
